Dr. Amy Miller, Past Chair

Dr. Amy Miller is the Assistant Director to the Provost’s Office in charge of all study abroad programs at Tennessee Tech University. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Miller served as the Chair of the International Affairs Committee, the International Friends host family program and is a co-founder of the Tech Buddy international friendship pairing program.  She has also developed new exchange agreements with universities abroad, has published various articles, and has received several grants for international activities. Prior to joining the Provost’s Office, she was an adjunct professor of Spanish and a Spanish Interpreter in the region. She has traveled to many countries, worked and lived abroad and has served as an advocate for all racially and ethnically diverse populations.  Dr. Miller holds an M.A. in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University and a Doctorate in Higher Education from Union University.
